Inventory number: CVH 49
Bollaert & Moortgat

Float for the Apotheosis of Antwerp: the Glorification of the House of Austria. Four figures sit on the lower part of the float, with a shield or standard; at the back, a little higher with steps leading to it, is a throne. Six Ionic columns support a cornice with a dome-shaped cover, on which figures are sitting with flags in between them. In the centre, a pinnacle sticks out, with balls and a bird.
