Variation on the design for the back of float IV for the "Praeltrein" procession of St. Rumbold in Mechelen

Inventory number: CVH 498
Bollaert & Moortgat

Variant design for the back end of a float: a tall-sided coach, with a round hole in the middle, from which rolls a long leaf; sitting atop the float is a bird with flapped-open wings; on the left and right, propped up against the float, is a term-like figure. Above and to the right of the bold drawing is another quick sketch, this time for the upper part of a float.
