Measurements of the high altar of St. James’ Church in Antwerp

Measurements of the high altar of St. James’ Church in Antwerp, excluding ornamentation: the altar has twisted columns; in the centre, a bishop with a crosier is depicted on clouds, surrounded by putti; above his head is an aureole with angels; at the top, in a shell-shaped fronton, the three Persons of the Holy Trinity are depicted: on the left is Christ with the cross, on the right, God the Father with a globe and sceptre, and in the centre, the Holy Ghost as a dove; at the side and on the fronton, there are also angels. Above the cornice, to the left and right, a vase in Louis XVI style has been added. Under the elevation of the altar, there is a drawing of the plan and a scale indication.
