Inventory number: CVH 319
Design: antependium, with the Ascension of the Virgin as its central motif, and to the left and right, alternative decorative motifs in Regency and Rococo styles; the Virgin is depicted on a cloud, surrounded by angels and an aureole, as she as ascending to heaven; two Apostles are kneeling by the open grave. In the left-hand panel, there is a tower, held by putti, in reference to a title for the Madonna from the Litany of Loretto.
