Design for an altar

On the upper part of the sheet is the design for the left-hand half of an altar: some steps lead up to the altar, on which there is a tabernacle with columns and a fronton, and a depiction of a chalice and host on the door; to the left of that is an angel supporting the frame of the central painting, for which an area has been left open.
